Join Susan for a lively program as she shares clinical tips from her forthcoming book on memory fitness to help you save your memory - and your mind!

* Easy to use self-helps for memory fitness, including a 60 second trick for recall
* How to cope and communicate with short-term memory loss in the dementia patient
* How to utilize the services of speech-language pathology for comprehensive, integrated clinical rehabilitation

Susan is President Susan I. Wranik Associates, L.L.C. She is a speaker, writer, and a practicing clinician catering to the geriatric population for speech, language, and swallow rehabilitation. Commercially, she helps men and women become strong public speakers and compelling communicators. She earned graduate degrees from Georgetown and The George Washington University, and has done post graduate work at Harvard University and in Europe. Her articles on communication and swallowing have appeared in The Senior Beacon, The Gazette, and The Guide to Senior Living. She recently released her first CD: THE CONFIDENCE QUOTIENT, to teach women how to avoid elements that sabotage their speaking strength, and the first DVD in her series: SUSAN ON SWALLOWING: A GENERAL GUIDE TO FEEDING AND SWALLOWING (Adult and Geriatric).

We kick off the Fall season with our first Alexandria Professional Women's Network luncheon on Tuesday Sept. 23 at 11:30 AM at the Courtyard Marriott, 2700 Eisenhower Ave. Alexandria. Our luncheon topic will be:
